This model\u2019s principal objective is improving the\u00a0care quality of terminal patients and their family members.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the model aims to generate palliative care knowledge and make it available for other institutions, in order to help more people and improve their life quality during their final days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To achieve this we work with:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25d7<\/strong><strong>\u00a0The National Institute\u00a0of Cancer,<\/strong>\u00a0through an integrated care model to improve\u00a0the quality of life of terminal patients and their families.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25d7<\/strong><strong>\u00a0The National Institute of\u00a0Medical Sciences and Nutrition \u201cSalvador Zubir\u00e1n\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0with research protocols\u00a0on psychology, psychiatry and thanatology to generate\u00a0evidence and experience on palliative care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25d7<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u201cLa Caixa\u201d Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0that shares with us their experience on\u00a0the Spanish palliative care model.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25d7<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Inbursa Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0provides financial support,\u00a0important to funding the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MODEL THAT PROVIDES\u00a0support for terminal\u00a0patients and their families, as well as providing training for the\u00a0health professionals involved in their treatment and the\u00a0corresponding grieving process.
