As a result, five patients who were waiting for a transplant were benefited; the Health Ministry reported. <\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was achieved the donation of <strong>a liver, two kidneys two corneas and skeletal muscle tissue<\/strong> in the <strong>General Hospital of Iruapuato,<\/strong> Guanajuato. As a result, five patients who were waiting for a transplant were benefited.<\/p>\n<p>A statement reported on Friday 13<sup>th<\/sup> of June that the relatives of a 47 years old patient, diagnosed with <strong>brain death<\/strong> in Irapuato, made the decision to <strong>donate the organs and skeletal muscle tissue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Juan Salvador Rodr\u00edguez Jamaica, Medical Coordinator at the State Transplants Centre (Cetra),<\/strong>\u00a0informed that the patient\u2019s relatives -with a very strong awareness- requested their family member\u2019s <strong>organs donation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Immediate transportation of the liver, from the nearby Irapuato Baseball Park to the General Hospital of Mexico, was possible in the <strong>State of Guanajuato Urgencies System\u2019s<\/strong> helicopter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los ri\u00f1ones y las c\u00f3rneas<\/strong>\u00a0fueron trasplantados en el\u00a0<strong>Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad (HRAE)<\/strong>\u00a0de Guanajuato. Mientras que el\u00a0<strong>tejido musculo esquel\u00e9tico<\/strong>\u00a0fue enviado al banco de tejidos de Guanajuato.<\/p>\n<p>Both <strong>kidneys and corneas<\/strong> were transplanted in the Guanajuato\u2019s<strong> Regional High Specialty Hospital<\/strong> (HRAE). While the <strong>skeletal muscle tissue<\/strong> was sent to the Tissue Bank of Guanajuato.<\/p>\n<p>With this donation is possible to <strong>save three people\u2019s lives<\/strong> with the solid organs transplants, <strong>improve<\/strong> <strong>two people\u2019s quality of life<\/strong> with the corneas transplant and the skeletal muscle tissue can <strong>improve more than 90 lives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So far there have been <strong>27 organ donors<\/strong> with <strong>76 organs and tissues donated and transplanted<\/strong> in Guanajuato; standing on the top in terms of national donation.
