The agency detailed, as response of an information request, that 20,484 <strong>pregnancies were interrupted<\/strong> during 2012. From those cases, six were performed by dilatation and curettage (D&amp;C); a minor surgical procedure. While 15,968 cases were attended from January to September 2013, from which five were D&amp;C.<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry indicated that the Federal District\u2019s Medical Units and Health Centres where the pregnancies were legally interrupted are the Hospitals of Xochimilco, Cuautepec, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Dr. Nicol\u00e1s M. Cedillo, Tl\u00e1huac, Topilejo, Inguar\u00e1n, Belisario Dom\u00ednguez, Enrique Cabrera, Balbuena, Iztapalapa, Milpa Alta, Ticom\u00e1n, Dr. Gregorio Salas Flores\u00a0and\u00a0Ajusco Medio. While the Health Centres that carried out these procedures are T III Beatriz Velasco de Alem\u00e1n, Santa Catarina\u00a0y M\u00e9xico Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p><b style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Federal District Institute for Access of Public Information and Personal Data Protection (InfoDF), during the past Wednesday session, considered the response given by the local Ministry of Health to the information request offered the required data.
